Father's Day WeatherSaturday started bright, but storms will return later on today. The radar may light up with strong storms on the eastern plains; the Storm Prediction Center has labeled eastern Colorado within the slight risk categoryfor severe storms. You don't have to cancel your outdoor plans, just keep an eye on the radar and be prepared to move indoors briefly should a storm approach. The same goes for Father's Day, though the chance for rain is slightly better then.More Rain Chances

Monday holds an even greater chance for showers and storms as a storm system rolls across the state. This will introduce some cooler air; highs on Monday will only reach the upper 60s and lower 70s. Clearing should take place on Tuesday and a drier airmass will move in midweek. The extended forecast shows lots of sun and highs in the 80s into next weekend! However, in typical June fashion, we can't be surprised by a pop-up afternoon thunderstorm!
